Please take notice that a meeting of the Membership (the "Membership Meeting") of the Ukrainian Institute of America, Inc. (the "Institute" or "UIA"), a New York not-for-profit corporation, will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 3rd, 2012 at the Ukrainian Institute of America, 2 East 79th Street, New York, NY for the following purposes:
· to report to the Membership on the progress of the Institute for the fiscal year ending June 30th, 2011;
· to elect certain Directors to the Board to serve until their successors are duly elected and qualified;
· to transact such other business as may properly come before the Membership Meeting or any adjournment thereof.
The By-Laws specify that Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 (the day before the Membership Meeting) be the record date for determination of Members entitled to vote at the Membership Meeting and any adjournment thereof and only record Full Members at close of business that day will be entitled to vote.
