SUMMARY:Invisible No More: Orphans and Street Children in Ukraine
DESCRIPTION: \nSublimitas and Razom will be screening the Bomzhi (2012) documentary by a Slovenian film-maker Andrej Naterer to raise awareness about the plight of street children and social orphans in Ukraine and to raise funds for Sublimitas’ Paving the Path to University program. The program prepares the orphanage youth for higher education that will enable them to contribute to fostering a more socially just and democratic Ukraine. \nAll proceeds will go directly to support Paving the Path to University program. \nBUY TICKETS \n• If you cannot make it to the event\, please consider supporting Paving the Path to University program by\ndonating here: http://www.sublimitaschildren.org/donate/ Small or big\, your donation will make a big\ndifference! \no For $60\, you can sponsor one month of tutoring classes for one orphan.\no For $300\, you can cover the entire tutoring cost for one orphan between January-May\, 2015. \nSublimitas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.\nUkraine is home to more than 100\,000 orphans and 150\,000 street children. With the ongoing war in the east of\nUkraine\, the numbers of abandoned and orphaned children have surged with no accurate data available yet.
