DESCRIPTION: \n40 YEARS OF PROMOTING UKRAINIAN CULTURE IN THE ANGLOPHONE WORLD: MICHAEL NAYDAN’S TRANSLATIONS AND NOVEL SEVEN SIGNS OF THE LION \nWoskob Family Professor of Ukrainian Studies at The Pennsylvania State University Michael Naydan will be discussing and reading from his translations as well as from his novel about the city of Lviv\, Seven Signs of the Lion\, which recently came out in Mariana Prokopovych’s Ukrainian translation. Actor Michael Bernosky will provide dramatic readings from Professor Naydan’s translations and novel.
