DESCRIPTION:TICKETS\n  \nIn conjunction with the current exhibition Not All of Them: Portraits of War Refugees\, photographs by Antanas Sutkus\, Artūras Morozovas and Tadas Kazakevičius\, Mr. Morozovas will be joined by Andrew Horodysky to talk about the empathetic and humanistic work behind the exhibition\, photographic practice during war-time crises\, and the unique visual approach that drives him to reveal the essence of his subjects in a way that touches the emotions and conscience of his viewers. \nArtūras Morozovas (b. 1984\, Kaunas) is a documentary photographer focusing on sensitive social issues throughout Europe and his native Lithuania. He photographed the military conflicts in the Caucasus and Ukraine\, post-conflict experiences and migration crises. Morozovas is currently based in Lithuania\, where he continues to work in the tradition of humanistic photography\, capturing the effects of poverty and social segregation and documenting everyday life in the country’s regions. His photographic work has been exhibited in Belarus\, Belgium\, Georgia\, Italy\, Lithuania\, Luxembourg\, Moldova\, Russia\, and the United Kingdom\, and has appeared in The Guardian\, Al Jazzeera\, Der Spiegel\, and The Washington Post\, among other publications. Morozovas is one of the cinematographers credited for Winter on Fire\, an Oscar-nominated film about the Revolution of Dignity (Maidan) in 2017. In 2023\, he was granted the status of Lithuanian Artist and in the same year became a member of the Lithuanian Union of Photographers. \nNot All of Them: Portraits of War Refugees\, has been extended to Sunday\, January 14.
