This year, on Giving Tuesday, Ukrainians and their cultural heritage are under attack. Millions of civilians are displaced inside and outside their country. Students struggle to continue to learn.

This is why we have decided this year to ask for your support of students in Ukraine. Specifically, we ask you to consider making a donation to benefit Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAA). Officially established in 1946, LNAA and its predecessor institutions has been home to many of the best known Ukrainian artists of the past 100 years. Today LNAA is a modern, dynamic and integrated team of specialists providing high-quality professional knowledge to more than 1,200 students at four faculties and in its division, Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Applied and decorative arts (ceramics, glass, wood, metal, textiles), fine arts and restoration of works of art (monumental and decorative sculpture, monumental painting, sacred art), design (interior, clothing, graphics), history and theory of art, art management are being actively developed.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia of Ukraine, LNAA has accepted students from all over Ukraine who were no longer able to live and study in their hometowns or whose families are experiencing financial hardship because of the war. To provide as much aid as possible to these students and to ease pressures on its budget, the school has set up a fund to provide tuition and accommodation funding to individual students. Your donation of $1,000 will support one student for a year.

We ask that you give as generously as you are able to support this worthy cause.
