Ukrainian singer Valeriia Vovk and acclaimed pianist Fima Chupakhin present a heartfelt Christmas program featuring Ukrainian carols, winter-themed originals, and beloved American classics.

From the oldest known Ukrainian carol Oi Yak Zhe Bulo to Shchedryk (Carol of the Bells) and modern holiday favorites, this intimate acoustic evening blends tradition with jazz-inspired warmth. Join us to celebrate the season and immerse yourself in Ukrainian culture.

Valeriia Vovk is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and producer, and a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Her performances and videos have garnered millions of views on social media, captivating audiences with her distinctive fusion of contemporary sound and Ukrainian heritage. She is an ambassador of various Ukraine-focused relief organizations and continues her cultural and humanitarian mission by leading charity tours across the U.S. to raise funds for Ukrainians in need.

Yukhym “Fima” Chupakhin is a Ukrainian jazz pianist and multimedia composer based in New York City. He is known for his jazz work, including his debut album Water, and has also composed soundtracks for films like The Wild Fields, for which he was nominated for a Ukrainian Film Award in 2019. Chupakhin, who came to the U.S. on a Fulbright scholarship, has collaborated with writer Serhyi Zhadan and is active in the New York jazz scene.
