The Ukrainian Institute of America and the Chopivsky Family Foundation were delighted to provide financial support for the 2015 Jessup International Law Moot Court competition team of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. The White & Case International Rounds of the 2015 Jessup International Law Moot Court competition took place on April 5 – 11, 2015 in Washington, D.C.
It was an honor for the Ukrainian Institute of America and the Chopivsky Family Foundation, especially now, at the time of the ongoing Ukrainian crisis, to support the participation of talented Ukrainian students in such a high-level international event as the Jessup International Law Moot Court competition. For our help and support, the Kyiv Taras Shevchenko team was able to compete and succeed at the competition. They finished in 32nd position out of a worldwide competition of more than 540 teams.
