A team of Ukrainian AP journalists trapped in the besieged city of Mariupol in early 2022 document the atrocities of the Russian invasion. As their cameras capture the war in which both civilians and reporters face mortal peril, their footage and photographs become its defining images around the world.
The Ukrainian Institute of America is proud to partner with Frontline and the AP on this event and expresses profound gratitude to the journalists who brought the world these images.
