On February 24, 2024, the Ukrainian Institute of America hosted an Open House, welcoming nearly 800 guests throughout the course of the day. Marking the second anniversary of the full-scale invasion and ten years of war in Ukraine, the theme of the #UkraineStands Open House was celebration of the resilience, strength and creativity of Ukraine and Ukrainians. In addition to a variety of tributes and exhibitions, including a Bevza fashion boutique and tasting of Ukrainian wines being produced in this time of war, guests heard greetings, conversations and remarks from a broad range of diplomats, journalists, professors, historians, philosophers and more.
