The Metropolitan Opera will present an unprecedented virtual ‘At-Home Gala’ on April 25th at 1 pm EDT.
The gala can be viewed via the Met’s official website with major artists performing from their homes all around the world.
The artists include, but are not limited to, Jonas Kaufmann, Yusif Eyvazov, Roberto Alagna, Alexandra Kurzak, Jamie Barton, Elina Garanca, Piotr Beczala, Angel Blue, Peter Mattei, Isabel Leonard, René Pape, Anita Rachvelishvili, Diana Damrau, Lisette Oropesa, Joseph Calleja, Erin Morley, Lawrence Brownlee, Sonya Yoncheva, and Renée Fleming, among many others.
The free stream will be available though April 26, on the Met’s homepage—as the coronavirus pandemic continues to keep the classical arts realm from its stages.
