The Ukrainian American Youth Association (CYM) of New York/School of Ukrainian Studies, located in the heart of the East Village in Manhattan, organized an important fundraising event on Saturday, February 29, 2020. The fundraiser was organized by the Parents’ Committee and was seeking donations to support their cultural programs and upkeep of its facility.

This institution provides more than 50 students (preschool through 12th grade) with a welcoming, compelling, and effective Ukrainian language learning environment so that the children grow up knowing and loving their culture. The UAYA NY and school recently celebrated its 70th anniversary.

If you wish to support this wonderful community of students, teachers, and parents, you can donate online: ukrainianschool.nyc/donate.
All donations are tax deductible.

The UAYA is a not for profit 501(c)3 organization. All donors will be acknowledged in their annual report.

With the support, UAYA have funded (and will continue to fund) the following initiatives:
• Additional cultural programs for our youth (field trips, workshops)
• Create a Ukrainian children’s library
• Renovate and repair classrooms
• Support teachers with necessary resources
